FAQs

  • Typical shift length: 2–6 hours

    One-time and recurring opportunities will be available throughout the academic year and summer months.

    Volunteer shifts are scheduled by you, so there is lots of flexibility to accomodate for changing or inconsistent schedules.

    Showing up on time is non-negotiable. VIPs are reliable.

  • Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

    • Event setup & teardown

    • Guest check-in & front-of-house support

    • Artist / speaker support

    • Social media & content capture

    • Logistics, run-of-show assistance

    • Other tasks relating to specific events

  • How to Earn VIP Priority Status:

    • Volunteer consistently

    • Be punctual + professional

    • Take initiative on-site during volunteer shifts

    • Receive positive feedback from peers and supervisors

  • In order to volunteer with us, you must meet the following requirements:

    • Must be an Algonquin College student (or specify otherwise)

    • Must attend required briefings

    • Must adhere to VIP Club policies

    • Some roles may require training
